Shipping rates

Hello all, I wanted to take minute to talk about shipping rates, I have been using Canada post for years do to the service and pricing they offer, I price myself on being able to offer $2.20 shipping across Canada for most small items. I also have heard concern from several people over the last few weeks on “larger” items and the cost of shipping ie anything over 22mm thick can not be shipped via letter mail, the next step up is a pre-paid padded envelope at $16.15 plus taxes, I charge $15 for this service in order to help customers out, I understand the frustration of buying an item for $15 and having to pay $15 to have it shipped I really do but unfortunately until Canada post reduces there rates or I find something cheaper I am trying to pass on the best savings. Keep in mind some areas offer (discount) shipping but I am located in North Bay, Ont and we do not have these (discount) drop off stations.
